She played Julie Mayer, an ABC comedy-drama series Desperate Housewives. The parents of Julie Alexandra Mayer include Susan Delfino (mother) and Karl Mayer. Julie, who was Susan Delfino's oldest child at the time of her birth, was an ideal fit for their family. In her early years, she would cook and clean in addition to giving tips on dating to Susan.
